POLL: Do you earn more than your spouse?

While it’s far from the focus, Insured Retirement Institute President and CEO Cathy Weatherford’s new book includes a statistic saying that 29% of women earn more than their husbands when both are employed – a figure that seems poised to grow for years into the future when you consider that 68% of women high school graduates go on to enroll in college compared to only 64% of men.

Women who are insurance producers or financial advisors have the potential to earn large incomes, making us curious as to whether this general statistic might be any different for our audience. Which brings us to this week’s poll question:
